Just got this working partner yesterday. Went to Suntec City with Ayumi, before this took her to Geylang Serai for her favourite Hou Fan kwei Teow noodle. We were picked up by Lijah & hubby, as they wanted to get a refrigerator for their house.
It didn't take me long to decide on this piece. What's important for me is a large screen and this girl has 15.6" HD LED LCD.
At the offered price (nana-kyu-kyu) that comes with an anti-virus CD, a carry-bag, 15-in-one notebook accessories, this lappy is quite a bargain for me.

I sent in this old laptop to the shop two weeks ago and was told that the motherboard is out. They replaced it. It was good for about 3 days only.
You may think I got this new Acer on impulse. No, I never buy anything on impulse except for food. I've been mulling over a local pc for sometime now. Local meaning not made in Japan with Japanese version.
This is my first blog from Acer. But come to think of it, I've only used the laptop before this for about 2 years. Why does the motherboard die off suddenly?

Anyway, last night I slept in peace around 1 am after configuring and downloading all the web updates. Of course, I make sure the anti-virus system is running before anything else.

Actually I'm nervous as this is the first time having a laptop not "Made in Japan".
